Community Connections are welcoming events that bring people together to strengthen relationships and understanding, while growing community resilience. Participants deepen their awareness of SRQ Strong’s mission, explore how trauma impacts overall well-being, expand their networks, gain practical tools across the pillars of health, their mental, physical, social, financial, and/or spiritual well-being, and leave inspired to take collective action in their neighborhoods.
The best part of Community Connections is that we work closely with local partners to design events based on need. From artists to subject matter experts, these connections are more than workshops—they are opportunities to practice community in action. SRQ Strong is always eager to meet and create new opportunities, contact us today.

The Movement Experience is a free, periodic community gathering that uses movement to explore the connection between trauma and healing.

Banyan Conversations is a bi-monthly series held on the first Tuesday of February, April, June, August, and October. These gatherings are designed to strengthen relationships and explore trauma and healing through the lens of the pillars of health.
Our first workshop takes place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 pm at The Academy at Glengary. Learn more and purchase tickets here.
